After a lifelong career as an Advertising Art Director,  the first manifestation of Baz Morris as a late-flowering artist began in 2009 with the introduction of ‘Awfully Like’… Creative Character Portraits of the famous and not so famous. 

In 2015, his portfolio – always in demand for its caricatures, portraits and cartoons – became enriched with unique landscapes, flora and fauna, birds, animals and architecture, when he became one of the elite artists at The Red Dot Gallery, in Holt, Norfolk. 

His maiden sell-out exhibition: ‘Strangely Drawn to Norfolk’ was a collection of the county’s architectural and natural treasures. And 3 further ‘one-man’ shows have followed, with the addition of two self-penned and illustrated books: ‘Quirks and Quiddities of Norfolk’, A Portrait of its Colourful Characters, Myths & Legends; And ‘The Morris Book of British Birds’, An Ornithological Miscellany. 

Baz’s unmistakable style of colourful and lively works are distinctive to the point that it’s not hard to spot a Morris.
