My outdoor work often has the appearance of stone which contrasts against plant foliage.
I combine my interests in plants, wildlife, landscapes, printing and textiles with my ceramic work. This results in a wide range of quirky sculptures and ceramics from nature printed items, to decorative plaques, to mini sculptures and to simplified outdoor garden sculptures.
I use a range of stoneware clays and colouring techniques that are mostly matt. My outdoor work often has the appearance of stone which contrasts against plant foliage.
