Only our current canvas is plinths and display aids.

As mentioned before the 14 June Artists Market is not a Craft Fair. It is being set up as a one day exhibition and Pop-Up Shop and we thought we would make our own display aids to make everything look really nice.

Cathi has already put in a big shift with her sewing machine making new table covers.

We also decided to have some plinths made up. Cathi designed them, Dave put in some time by cutting the slots so the plinths can all be set up quickly but then flat packed and stored away for next time. Yesterday Cathi and Shalini had a painting party and gave the wood a coat of paint. It will be done by the week-end.

So this isn’t anything glamorous or a superb piece of art (You will see those at the Artists market!). We just want to show you the time and effort that is going in to set up a new style of creative market where you can see and buy beautiful works of art directly from the artists.

Eve and Cathi are meeting soon to finalise the layout and display set up on the day and we promise you its going to be great!

The Pop-Up Shop will be set up at the Arts Centre Ballroom between 11 AM – 4 PM and all participating artists will be present to answer questions, accept commissions for bespoke work and just  have a chat.
