I create exciting and unique impressions of the world around me – all with my camera.

I interpret light and colours, shapes and patterns in gardens and landscapes, producing images that invite you to pause and explore – perhaps with a reward when you recognise a pattern or place. Other times they are pure abstracts, which you can explore and interpret as you wish.  Impressionist photography appeals to me because I am able to present a different take on the world around me.  

I use multiple exposure and camera movement techniques and blending modes to compose my images in the field, which I then complete on my computer. 

I have been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society and won two major prizes in the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition, all with my impressionist images.  My work can be found in private collections as far apart as Indianapolis and Tasmania.
