I make jewellery that I would like to wear myself

- 22nd October to 3rd November – Gallery Exhibition & 3rd November Artist Market in the Ballroom
I make jewellery that I would like to wear myself. My aim now is to create striking individual pieces that others too might enjoy.
I started making silver jewellery about 10 years ago when I embarked on a City & Guilds Silver Jewellery Making course. It wasn’t long before another student introduced me to silver metal clay. What an amazing material; I couldn’t believe my luck – to be able to make pieces in clay, fire them and they turned into metal…fine silver.
Wow! This material has inspired me!
I use it to make pendants, beads, earring drops and charms for bracelets in conjunction with sterling silver wire and sheet.
