Lisa Johnson: Fused Glass Artist

Stamford based Fused Glass Artist & Silver Jewellery Maker Lisa Johnson

Lisa is exhibiting at our Escape the Ordinary Exhibition at Stamford Arts Centre Gallery: 28 October – 8 November 2025

I love to craft and my speciality is Fused Glass. I sell my work and run beginners workshops. I am also an avid crocheter and all round crafter.

I am a Fused Glass Artist who is inspired by nature and the vibrancy, colour and textures of the glass.

Art has been something that I have always enjoyed but Fused Glass is a passion. I only wish I had found it years ago.

My Dad was born in Stamford and I grew up in Peterborough. After travelling in my early 30’s I met my husband and spent several years working in the Caribbean on yachts. We returned to England in 2003 and now live near Easton with my teenage daughter, 2 dogs and a cat.

Four years ago I opened “The Place Stamford” with a good friend Katie, where I was re-introduced to crafting and I discovered Fused glass.

Katie and I collaborate to make silver jewellery which I will also show at the exhibition.
