The Norman Cross Art Gallery starts the autumn season with a diverse exhibition of artists to herald the new season titled “The Faces of Change”.

Exhibiting artists include Gilson Lavis, Francis Reynolds, Tony Nero, Melissa Lopez and HMP Prison Artists.

The exhibition is a showcase of the many faces the have brought about change in our society, and drawing a parallel association of change celebrating the approaching season, is captured by the artists’ individual styles and expressions relating to powerful subjects politically, socially and artistically to celebrate the ‘Faces of Change’ of people and time.

So I managed to sneak in a few new pieces to the ‘Faces of Change’ exhibition at the Norman Cross Gallery. When Derek Lopez, the owner of the gallery asked me a couple of weeks ago to drop off two pieces for this new exhibition…excited, I thought OK cool!
But seeing that I love a challenge I decided to try and do a new piece for this exhibition. This resulted in two new pieces plus a charcoal drawing of Usain Bolt, of which I had just finished a few days before.
