Cambridge based contemporary jewellery designer
Jackie is participating in ESC Artists Stamford Arts Centre Autumn events, Gallery Exhibition from 25 October – 5 November and Artists Market in the Ballroom on 5 November 2017.
I studied photography and Design with the Open University in 2012 and continued to create and develop a range of handmade jewellery using silver, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and leather. With Inspiration from natural beauty, using light, texture and colour from the changing seasons to bring life into each individual piece. I have been inspired by Scandinavian style – aesthetically simple, clean and contemporary. I visit Sweden regularly as I have a holiday house there deep in the Swedish unspoilt forests.
I started creating jewellery before Christmas 2011 and enjoyed this so much that I started selling my work at a local market in 2012!
My Company name Cloudberry Designs, derives from a Scandinavian precious fruit- known as ‘Forest Gold’. This symbolises the uniqueness of my jewellery, designed using clean, simple forms, adding colour and texture to creations.
I am a member of Cambridge Open Studios and hold open studio events at my garden studio. I also hold a number of workshops at my garden studio for private tuition.
