Having known many family members, close friends, students and customers suffer with the effects of cancer we would like to do an event to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Trust.
Eve and her mum have annually created a charity event for Christian Aid in Aslackby and wanted to coincide it with this event this year. Eve also had a student whose family have donated her felting supplies for a charity workshop after she died suddenly from cancer. All donations for refreshments & lunch will go to Christian Aid.
How does the day work?
You may just show up on the day and enjoy refreshments and the mini table activities, browse the craft stalls & craft supplies, and watch the craft demonstrations.
Or you can book in advance for a mini workshop: £5 for half day or £10 for full day. Prices are per person. The Mini workshops last about 1.5 hours and a couple can be done in the morning or afternoon.
Mini workshop examples:
- Wet felted butterflies & dragonflies
- Making copper leaves
- Wire work dragonflies
- Wire work Bracelets / Earrings
- Mini felted landscapes
- (More may be available after we secure more tutors)
£4 out of every £5 that you spend will go directly to Macmillan. £1 may be used for cost of craft materials (although we hope to get most donated).
All the refreshment and lunch money will go to Christian Aid.
